Emily M. Sabbagh, M.D.

Dr. Emily M. Sabbagh has a unique career specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial and laser surgery. After having spent years in re-constructive surgery of the face, she decided to apply her specialized  knowledge to cosmetic and reparative care. She first worked with lasers in 1987, during her maxillofacial residency. Over the past 25 years she has expanded her knowledge, and is now recognized as one of the top specialists in this area. She has been an educator and instructor for more than twenty seven years. 

Dr. Sabbagh trained at the prestigious Keller Medical Institute in Monterey CA and is certified in laser science and operations in the Cynosure Affirm, Elite and Smartlipo, Pinpointe, SmartSkin CO2 fractional,  Tattoo removal, Triactive and Isolaz acne laser( Solta Medical). As Chief Medical Officer and CEO of Federal Way Laser Surgeons, Dr. Sabbagh maintains a lively practice. In addition to her laser cosmetic procedures, Dr. Sabbagh is an advanced injector of Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, As well as several dermal fillers.

Dr. Sabbagh completed her Residency at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA,  which included General Surgery and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery 1987-1993.

Dr. Sabbagh maintains professional affiliations with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  She  is  a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology.

Dr. Sabbagh is also a Member of The American Academy of Cosmetic Physicians , International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine and a member of the Washington State Medical Association. Dr. Sabbagh's resume is most impressive. She received her dental degree (DDS) from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York City, her medical degree (MD) from Drexel University College of Medicine and her Master's degree in Biochemistry from City College of New York culminating with several publications in prestigious medical journals. She taught at the post graduate and undergraduate  level as an adjunct professor in chemistry at City College in New York, St Francis College, and St. Joseph's College. Dr. Sabbagh also taught at the high school level, GED and at the Stanley H. Kaplan Educational Center where she prepared students for medical and dental school aptitude tests. Dr. Sabbagh has been invited several times to speak at the Academy of General Dentistry presenting comprehenisive reviews of oral and maxillofacial surgery. She has presented reviews of medical management topics to the University of Washington Department of Prosthodontics and to the Pierce County Dental Hygeine Society.
